Electronic music icon deadmau5 is returning to Red Rocks Amphitheatre for what might be his most anticipated shows yet. For the first time in his 15+ year history of fall season performances at the Colorado venue, Joel Zimmerman will take the stage on Halloween weekend with DEADMAU5 HALLOWEEN on Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31, 2026.

These special Halloween shows promise to embrace the full spirit of the spookiest celebration. The performances will feature over-the-top visuals fitting of the devil, soundtracked by carefully selected tracks from deadmau5′ extensive original catalog, plus new music still to come. Fans are encouraged to come dressed in costume for what the announcement calls “added terror and delight” across both nights.

The timing marks a significant moment for the Canadian producer, who has made Red Rocks a regular pilgrimage for his fall performances. His connection to the venue runs deep – from career celebration shows like 2022’s ‘retro5pective: 25 years of deadmau5’ to last year’s ‘Day of the Dead’ performance, where he debuted new music and segments from a brand new touring production.

deadmau5 continues to push boundaries both in the studio and on stage. His recent accomplishments include the GRAMMY-nominated Kx5 project with Kaskade, which broke records at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum as the largest single-day concert event headlined by an electronic artist in North America. The project’s debut single ‘Escape’ featuring Hayla reached #1 on dance radio and helped establish Kx5 as 2022’s biggest ticketed global headliner dance event.

The producer’s catalog spans seven critically acclaimed albums and multiple platinum-certified singles including ‘Ghosts ‘n’ Stuff,’ ‘Professional Griefers,’ and ‘I Remember.’ His 2026 single ‘Science’ featuring Stevie Appleton marked his return to vocal tracks, charting at #1 on US Dance Radio and cracking the Billboard Dance/Mixshow Airplay chart.
