Spanish producer TOYZZ has made his debut on Adam Beyer’s Truesoul with a two-track EP that showcases his unique sound palette. The Alicante-based artist drops This Beat today, marking his first release on the respected Swedish techno label.

TOYZZ builds his productions from the ground up, drawing from bass house, tech house and reggae influences that give his tracks a distinctive warmth and rhythmic character. His sound has caught attention from notable artists, with Dillon Francis describing his music as sounding “like being in a submarine in the deepest water“. Previous releases like ‘SexyBack’ on Spinnin Deep hit number one on Beatport’s bass house chart, while ‘Generation’ earned support from Dom Dolla.

The title track ‘This Beat‘ delivers on its promise as a crowd-pleaser, pairing smoky grooves with a commanding vocal line. The EP’s second offering, ‘Earthquake‘, brings plenty of low-end power and psychedelic touches for what the label calls ‘a technicoloured party tune.’

“It’s unreal for me to be releasing on Adam Beyer’s label“, TOYZZ explains. “I’ve been listening to him for years and sending him my music for a long time, so it was a huge surprise when I saw him charting my last release. That’s when I knew ‘This Beat‘ and ‘Earthquake‘ could be a perfect fit, and here we are!’“

The EP represents another strong addition to Truesoul’s roster of emerging talent. Known primarily as Adam Beyer’s techno imprint, the label has expanded its sound in recent years to include artists who blend genres while maintaining the underground ethos that defines the Drumcode family.
