Swedish House Mafia’s upcoming Dubai performance has officially been postponed, according to a message sent directly to ticket holders. The trio had been scheduled to headline Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour Experience on May 16 as part of the venue’s season closing party.

Originally, the event was set to mark a major return to Dubai for Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso. It also remained listed across official event platforms in recent updates, with anticipation building around the large-scale show.

However, an email sent to customers confirmed the change. In the message, Dubai Help stated that the event would no longer go ahead due to the ongoing situation in the UAE. As a result, organizers have already begun issuing full refunds to the original method of payment.

The show had been positioned as one of the city’s standout electronic music events this month. In fact, Visit Dubai listed the performance for May 16 at 7 PM, with ticket prices starting from AED195. Ushuaïa Dubai also promoted the night as its official season closing party, further raising expectations.

Meanwhile, Swedish House Mafia were expected to bring a full-scale production to the Dubai Harbour venue. Known for their global influence and high-impact live shows, the group remains one of the most prominent acts in electronic music.

The postponement comes amid wider disruption across the UAE. Recent regional developments have impacted events, travel, and aviation, which has led to several schedule changes across the sector.
